Benedikt Strobel, a pioneer and founder of BOYAUDERIE Sarroise, began importing natural casings in the early 1930s from South America in order to boost the Saarland and cross-border sausage production with high quality natural casings. Today, as a family owned company in third generation, we remain committed to our founding impulses.
Living and working in the greater SaarLorLux region, we are always fascinated by the culinary riches that the region has to offer as well as its regionally characterized sausage culture and its multifaceted nature and variety of taste experiences.
